Catholic Church Threatens Excommunication

with one comment

Stuff like this makes me think the Catholic Church really hasn’t really learned their lesson.

The gist of this article is this:

The Catholic Church is threatening to excommunicate witnesses to a priest molestation case if they discuss the case outside of the Church’s courtroom. The victim has asked that the proceedings be made public.

Who are we protecting the victim or the accused??

Good feelings

without comments

I have good feelings about today’s election.  As all the polls have shown, I think the Dems will take the House.  In contrast to the polls, I think the Dems will grab the majority in the Senate.  It will probably be a slim majority, but I think they’ll get it.

The most important thing for me tonight is that Rick Santorum gets shown the door.  He has been bad for the country, bad for Pennsylvania and it’s time for him to go.

I guess we’ll know in a few hours…

without comments

Speaking of Hackergotchi’s, I’d like to introduce the two guys that I work closest with (who now thanks to Tim also have Hackergotchis). They really are happier in real life than they appear in these pictures.

Gary
Gary Camptella.
Also known as GC, and our Master Po.
Tim
Tim Peters.
Also known as TP, Timmy P, and now the hackergotchi master.

My very own hackergotchi

with one comment

Well, thanks to my buddy Tim — I now have my very own hackergotchi. I attempted one, but it looked like crap. In a matter of moments Tim had whipped one together for me that looks just great.
